Introduction to the Brofman Foundation
The Brofman Foundation is dedicated to promoting healing and self-awareness. Its mission is to showcase and promote the techniques and philosophies developed by Martin Brofman, the Body Mirror Healing System, and the Vision Workshop. Instructors play a crucial role in sharing these perspectives and knowledge with a wide audience.
Prerequisites
To become an instructor of the Brofman Foundation and teach the Body Mirror Method© and/or the Vision Workshop©, certain prerequisites are required:
Complete Training
- You must have completed the foundational and advanced courses of the Brofman Method, which means having attended at least 8 seminars of the Body Mirror System totaling 216 hours:
- 3 weekend seminars
- 3 Level 1 intensive courses
- 2 Level 2 intensive courses
- To teach the Vision Workshop, you must also attend 3 of these workshops (50 hours).
Practical Experience
- It is essential to have significant practical experience using the healing techniques learned during the courses and to have achieved success with them.
Application and Commitment
- Personal Commitment: Submit a written application explaining your motivations.
- Public Speaking: Conduct one or more conferences to present your personal perspective and understanding of the Brofman Foundation tools. The ability to engage and inspire an audience is indispensable for teaching.
Steps to Become an Instructor
Once your application is accepted:
- Instructor Candidate Contract
You sign a contract with the Brofman Foundation, initiating a maximum one-year period to become an instructor. - Seminar Participation
Attend additional sessions of the Body Mirror System and/or Vision Workshop. The number of sessions will be determined based on your location and language skills. - Supervision and Mentorship
Train under the supervision of experienced instructors, learning the four modules that make up each course. This step includes personalized guidance and continuous assessment. - Recordings
You will be required to record the two meditations used in the seminars with your own voice. - Meetings
Attend the annual instructors’ meeting (typically held in Europe during summer) and regularly participate in online instructor meetings.
Financials
The cost of the instructor candidate training is €4000. Payment plans can be arranged if needed.
This entry fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee successful completion of the program or authorization to teach, which will only be granted upon successful completion of the training program and approval by the Foundation.
Authorization to Teach
Once the training is validated, your status changes from instructor candidate to official instructor of the Brofman Foundation.
- A new contract is signed, granting you the right to officially teach the seminar(s).
- You become a consulting member of the Brofman Foundation.
Certified instructors commit to actively participating in activities that promote the Foundation’s methods, including:
- Participating in events such as wellness fairs.
- Writing articles for monthly newsletters.
- Supporting new instructor candidates.
- Updating the database.
